Jeremiah 29:11New International Version (NIV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

How do you take brokenness and transform it into something meaningful? Being the light that shines so others can find their way…Love.

I was once broken. I have seen the damage that being broken causes. I had a dream, a long time ago that was shattered and brought back to life again. Every living being deserves this, and it is his plan.

What is it like to live life with purpose? I can look back and see that purpose was brewing as early as 4 or 5 years old. Even at such a young age my heart was full of compassion and service to others. I can remember times in my life when others or life circumstances stood in the way of seeing things through. Derailment did not prevent me from listening to my heart and the life it yearned to live, it just took longer. I believe the things that prevent us from living a full life can be used to teach others, when first rectified. That is purpose. To know your personal gifts, to use them and to share them with others.

Violation can not stop purpose.
Poverty can not stop purpose.
Mental Illness can not stop purpose.
Alcohol and drug addiction can not stop purpose.
Neglect can not stop purpose.
Abuse can not stop purpose.
Derailment can not stop purpose

  1. Hi there,
I stumbled upon your blog as I was browsing Partners International. Your blog caught my attention due to the word – Expressive Arts and as I read a bit of it, I noticed that you had taken Expressive Arts through the Create Institute as well as the European Graduate school. I am curious about your experiences through these schools, and the application process as I am hoping to pursue Expressive Arts as well. I am currently working as a community mental health worker and have just taken the intro to expressive arts course via Create. So would just like to connect if that’s cool with you. I can be reached via email – cindeekwong@gmail.com. Thanks.

    1. Hi Cindy,
I would love to chat with you about my experiences. Perhaps a phone call would be best?
I am out out of the Province until February 27th and could arrange communication either by phone or email after that. Thanks for reading and connecting!

      1. Hi Angela,
It is the night before registration to the Create Program. I feel a little bit uncertain about it, I know it’s a bit last minute but was wondering if you could share some of your experiences with me and maybe what you are up to now.

you can email me – cindeekwong@gmail.com to arrange a phone call or something – does not have to be tonight.
